This is Shackly, he lives in a shack, down Shack Lane in the city of Shacksville. He’s always going on little adventures with his friend The Snake, and more often than not, they end up in some kind of sticky situation which they have to try to somehow get out of. His favourite things are day-dreaming, eating and drinking milk shakes.
This is The Snake. He’s been Shackly’s best friend ever since he escaped from the zoo by shimmying up a drainpipe and Shackly let him live at his shack. The snake loves nothing more than to eat really, really sweet things- often you can tell what he’s eaten from the shape of his body.
This is Le Chat- Le Chat is French for ‘the cat’, if you were wondering. That’s because, according to Le Chat, she was born in France where she used to be a top model, strutting the cat walks of Paris and rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous; she even had her own designer scent apparently- Eau de Chat. Shackly got Le Chat from a cat’s home in Shacksville- he’s never found out how she got there. Like most cats, Le Chat loves to eat meaty things, especially fish.
This is Frankenfurter who makes a most unwelcome visit to Shackly and The Snake one evening, just as they are cooking a ‘delicious’ sausage based meal. He’s quite scary, wants to take over the world and has a very smelly bean eating habit.
